DOXIMIX 400 soluble powder is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic action acting on G (–) y G (+) bacteria, aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms, Mycoplasma spp., Rickettsias and Chlamydia spp.

Indicated for poultry (broilers, fattening hens, turkeys), bovine and swine.

Doxycycline is a broad spectrum antibacterial for the prevention and treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal infections caused by susceptible microorganisms such as: E. coli, Salmonella, Haemophillus spp, Pasteurella, Bordetella, Streptococcus, Campylobacter, and its action against Mycoplasmas.

SPECTRUM OF ACTION:

Broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Bacillus anthracis; Clostridium spp; Pasteurella spp; Campylobacter spp; Haemophillus spp; Klebsiella spp; Spherophorus necrophorus; Escherichia coli; Salmonella spp; Shigella spp; Actinobacillus spp; Actinomyces bovis; Leptospira coli; Salmonella spp; Shigella spp. Klebsiella spp; Spherophorus necrophorus; Escherichia coli; Salmonella spp; Shigella spp; Actinobacillus spp; Actinomyces bovis; Leptospira pomona; Moraxella bovis; Erysipelothrix insidiosa; Corynebacterium spp. Listeria spp.; Streptococcus spp.; Staphylococcus spp.), and microorganisms of the Chlamydia, Mycoplasmatacea and Ricketsiacea groups (Anaplasma spp). In general, Doxycycline is very active against Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., anaerobic bacteria, and against Mycoplasmas, Ureaplasmas, Chlamydiae and Rickettsiae.

ORAL. Treatment for 3 to 5 consecutive days.

Dose per Kg of live weight: 10 - 20 mg every 24 hours.

IN DRINKING WATER:

Poultry (broilers, hens, turkeys), bovine, swine: Administer 1 g (Equivalent to 400 mg Doxycycline Hyclate) per 1L of drinking water.

Dilute the product in the drinking water according to the dose and the number of animals to be treated.

IN FEED:

Poultry (broilers, hens, turkeys) 375 to 500 g (equivalent of 150 to 200 g of Doxycycline Hyclate) per ton of feed.

Swine: 500 to 625 g (equivalent to 200 to 250 g of Doxycycline) per ton of feed.

Bovine: 240 g (equivalent to 100 g of Doxycycline) per ton of feed.

Doses are adjusted according to the veterinarian's criteria.

Poultry (broilers, hens, and turkeys), swine and cattle: 24 days before slaughter.

Do not use in animals producing eggs for human consumption.

Administration in rusty feeders and drinking containers should be avoided.

Use during pregnancy and lactation: Not described.

Interaction with other medicine and other forms of interaction: It must not be used with iron salts, calcium, aluminum and magnesium.

Special warnings according to the animal species: Using this product in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption is not permitted. Using this product in bovids producing milk for human consumption is not permitted.
