It is an effective antibiotic against Gram positive bacteria: Corynebacterium pyogenes, Streptococcus spp, Staphylococcus spp, Clostridium spp., and Gram negative bacteria: E. coli, Pasteurella haemolytic, Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.
For fatting poultry and pigs.
For oral administration, in drinking water. Treatment from 3 to 5 consecutive days.
20 mg of Florfenicol per kg of live weight.
Fatting poultry, pigs: Administer 100 mL (equivalent to 20 g of Florfenicol) per 100 L of drinking water.
Dissolve the product in drinking water according to the dose and the number of animals to be treated.
The dose shall be adjusted at the veterinarian’s discretion.
Fatting poultry: 5 days before slaughter.
Pigs: 28 days before slaughter.
Use of this product in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption is not permitted.
