QUINOL 60 is a non-absorbable chemotherapeutic agent that acts as a growth promoter. It improves feed conversion and prevents watery diarrhea. Its key advantages stem from the fact that this controlled mixture addresses common animal health, nutritional, microbial, and performance challenges in poultry and swine production without affecting the nutritional value of the diets. It acts exclusively at the intestinal level; that is, it has no systemic effect. It acts directly on the gastrointestinal smooth muscle, primarily in the ileum and jejunum, producing an anti-peristaltic effect, improving the absorption of fluids and nutrients, and reducing diarrhea if it occurs.
Indicated for poultry and swine.
Used for antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiprotozoal treatment. Its antimicrobial effect improves feed efficiency in all stages of poultry and swine development. It helps maintain a balanced intestinal flora and reduces peristalsis, favoring nutrient absorption and overall animal performance.
It reduces the incidence of gastrointestinal diseases, which is important for the control, treatment, and prevention of diarrhea caused by E. coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris, Shigella sonnei, Shigella flexneri, Shigella dysenteriae, Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus terreus, Mycoplasma synoviae, Mycoplasma gallisepticum, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Oral route with feed.
Swine (use for a maximum of 10 days):
Pre-starter / Starter / Grower: 200 g of QUINOL 60 per metric ton of feed (equivalent to 120 g of halquinol/metric ton of feed).
Finisher: 100 g of QUINOL 60 per metric ton of feed (equivalent to 60 g of halquinol/metric ton of feed).
Poultry (use for 7 to 10 days):
Broilers: 25 to 50 g of QUINOL 60 per metric ton of feed (equivalent to 15 to 30 g of halquinol/metric ton of feed).
Layers and breeders: 50 to 100 g of QUINOL 60 per metric ton of feed (equivalent to 30 to 60 g of halquinol/metric ton of feed).
