APRAMAX 10

APRAMAX 10 is an aminoglycoside antibiotic derived from Streptomyces tenebrosus. It shows bactericidal activity against Gram-negative bacteria, including Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is used to treat bacterial or parasitic infections such as colibacillosis and salmonellosis, bacterial enteritis in pigs, and E. coli septicemia in poultry.
 

Indicated for poultry and swine.

For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal diseases caused by Gram-negative bacteria. In poultry, it is indicated for septicemia caused by E. coli, Salmonella, and other microorganisms sensitive to apramycin. In swine, it is indicated for bacterial enteritis.

Oral route in drinking water or feed.

Swine:

In drinking water: 75 - 125 mg of APRAMAX 10 per kg of body weight (equivalent to 7.5 - 12.5 mg of apramycin/kg of body weight) for 7 days.

In feed: 30 - 70 mg of APRAMAX 10 per kg of body weight (equivalent to 3 - 7 mg of apramycin/kg of body weight).

Poultry:

In drinking water: 250 - 500 mg of APRAMAX 10 per kg of body weight (equivalent to 25 - 50 mg of apramycin/kg of body weight).

 

Keep out of reach of children and domestic animals. Storage temperature: 15° - 30 °C (59° - 86 °F). Protect from moisture and light.
