BACTFUN TOTAL is an antibacterial and antifungal agent. It is formed by sal ammoniac of short-chain organic acids such as formate and propionate which rapidly reduce the pH and directly affect the pathogenic effect of bacteria, yeast and fungi in the feed, allowing reducing or eliminating the existing pathogenic bacterial counts.
Unlike propionic acid, this product is not corrosive, so it offers many advantages for handling.
BACTFUN TOTAL contains:
Short chain organic acids.
ammonia salts.
It is very stable for those who produce pelleted feed.
By adding BACTFUN TOTAL in feed, it is possible to eliminate or substantially reduce bacterial, yeast and fungi loads, contributing to a better animal’s intestinal health. When the animal ingests feed, the product avoids the uncontrolled proliferation of potentially pathogenic flora in different sections of the digestive tract, thus preventing the appearance of intestinal dysbiosis and diarrheas.
It is very effective against gram-negative pathogens such as Salmonella or Escherichia coli.
The acid pH, produced by the acetic acid in the product, improves the stomach’s acidification process, enhancing nutrient assimilation and feed digestion due to the activation of digestive enzymes.
Recommended dose:
From 500 g to 1,000 g per ton of feed.
The dosage adjustment will also depend on the initial
bacteriological conditions (initial bacterial load of feed).
